Your money never moves without your say

When you start a project, the full build budget is deposited into a platform-managed escrow account. From that moment, every cedi is tracked and protected.

  • Funds are locked on deposit. Neither you nor the contractor can withdraw without completing the release process.
  • 20% released per phase. Only after the inspector verifies completion and you approve the report.
  • All-or-nothing per phase.No partial payments. The phase is either complete or it isn't. No ambiguity.
  • Disputes freeze funds.If there's a disagreement, escrow stays locked until the 3-level resolution process is complete.

Independent Inspections

Every phase is verified on-site by a qualified, independent inspector — never the same person twice in a row.

What happens at each inspection

  1. Contractor requests sign-off

    When a phase is complete, the contractor notifies the platform. This triggers the inspection process.

  2. Inspector assigned within 24 hours

    A qualified inspector is assigned from our rotated pool. They're never the same inspector used on the previous phase.

  3. On-site verification

    The inspector visits the site, checks every deliverable against the phase checklist, and records a narrated video walkthrough.

  4. Report uploaded to your dashboard

    Video, photos, material log, and cost verification are uploaded within 24 hours. You review from anywhere in the world.

  5. You decide

    Approve to release funds, request remediation if something's wrong, or escalate to dispute resolution.

All inspectors hold a minimum HND or degree in Building Technology or Civil Engineering, with at least 5 years of practical experience in Ghana. They complete our platform certification programme. Critically, we rotate inspectors — the same person never inspects consecutive phases of the same project.
Absolutely. The platform doesn't replace your involvement — it supplements it. You're free to visit at any time. The escrow and inspection system simply ensures that even if you can't visit, your interests are protected.
The platform tracks actual spend against budget in real time. If a phase is trending over budget, you're notified immediately. Any budget revision requires your explicit approval through the platform before additional funds can be allocated.
Once you approve a phase release on the platform, funds are typically disbursed to the contractor within 24 hours. Platform fees are deducted transparently from the released amount — you see the exact breakdown before approving.
